There are many creative ways to capture and pay tribute to family stories that could easily be forgotten. One approach that an Ancestry genealogist took, was to fill a mason jar with questions for her father-in-law, a quiet man who rarely spoke about his own life. Each week he visited, she would pull out a question and record the answer in a notebook, eventually having enough details to put together a book of memories for her husband and siblings.
