make a timeline of your life

One way to start telling your family stories is to make a timeline of major events. Grab a notebook or turn on your computer, and document each year you’ve been alive. Add turning points or life events: when you were born, school years and memories, family moves, accomplishments, challenges, joys, adventures, lessons learned, college years, graduation, first job, marriage, children born, and so on. Jot down names, places, dates. Learn more about this great starting tip: http://bit.ly/2CfOM1w.
